How it works
No hidden mechanics. Here's exactly what happens when you join, post, and like something.
for cooks
Joining and posting
- Make an account. A name, an email, a password of at least eight characters. Your name is what shows on your recipes; your email is never displayed.
- Post a recipe. Title, a line about it, ingredients one per line, method one step per line. The site numbers the steps for you, so don't type numbers in yourself.
- Add a photo if you have one. Up to 8 MB, straight from your phone or laptop. It's optional — a recipe with no photo still shows up, it just gets fewer clicks.
- Edit or remove it later. Everything you post lives on your own page. Take it down whenever you want; the likes go with it.

Liking and finding things
The heart on a recipe is one per person. Press it once to add your like, press it again to take it back — the count moves with you, and it can't be gamed by pressing it repeatedly. You need an account to like something, because otherwise the number means nothing.
On the recipes page you can sort by newest or by most liked. There's no recommendation engine and no feed that decides what you see — just those two orders, and everything that's been posted.
for the owner
The admin side
The site owner has a private admin area at /admin, reached with a password. From there you can see every recipe including ones that have been hidden, edit or delete anything, and see who has signed up.
It's deliberately light — a place to remove spam and fix a typo, not a moderation queue. Members manage their own posts.
